If those names sound familiar it is because basically everyone with a TV has encountered them on the one of a kind and unforgettable infomercial for the home workout program P90X.

What I have set out to do with Power Half Hour is identify the basics of what it can accomplish for a wide cross-section of people at various levels of fitness.

Emerging studies support the idea that weight loss and concurrent muscle toning are better achieved by undertaking a combination of cardio and weight work, than with cardio alone.
