There have been countless reports in the media of dubious massage centres camouflaged as legal establishments, which offers 'clandestine' services to its consumers. Fact or brazenly sensationalized.

The art of massage has been practiced all around the globe starting in traditional civilizations of Rome,Sexual Advances In A Massage Room Articles Greece, Japan, India, Egypt and Mesopotamia.

In modern times, massage strategies have branched into various methods ; from Ayurvedic to acupuncture, from Balinese to deep tissue, and even offered to breast cancer patients in the form of medical massages, all in the quest to ease ailments starting from stress, nervousness to physical pain.

It has shown to be an efficient tool, and results have shown that because of this 'promised' relief, many have frequented places which offer these services.

It is said that far too much of a good thing can be bad but what quantity of a good thing? And how tough can it get?

Not all massage therapists are certified or licensed and not all operators are legal. We have read of raids conducted throughout the country of supposed massage parlors which are in fact, thinly-disguised brothels at best. 'Massage therapists' in the form of (often) younger ladies ; provide sex services in the final goal of the achievement of a client's orgasm.

Unsavory parlors teach their 'therapists' to make use of erotic and sensual methods in erogenous areas of the body, in the hope of alluring purchasers to need and ask for more explicit services ; which as it turns out, 8 out of 10 potentially would do.

The rest they say, is history.

Let us look at this from the opposite angle, for the sake of argument of CUSTOMERS initiating sexual advances towards therapists. Is this heard of? Of course. Is this behavior rampant? Definitely. Is it regularly highlighted in the media? No.

It begs the subsequent question ; whether legal or not, is this behaviour acceptable?

Viewpoints alter. Massage parlors, both credible and otherwise, offer services catered especially to a customer's wishes. Ensconced in a personal area with no disturbance, this rather intimate experience may, often, awaken certain uncontrolled behavior patterns, ending in sexual advances made. This applies to either the therapist or buyer, or in same commonplace cases, both.

Sexual advances in the massage room is a subject not so many discuss, as it may be interpreted as lecherous, even condemned.

There are a few documentaries which depict not sexual advances as such, but the practice of 'legal' prostitution, as demonstrated in 'Happy Endings', where Asian massage firms in Rhode Island offer their customers massage cum sex services.

Right or wrong, moral or unethical, sexual advances, either offered or solicited, it actually depends on the individual's response when such a matter occurs. If two consenting adults engage in an act concerning sex, who is to blame? Nobody.

For those who harbor fear of this taking place, stop your consultant if you feel uncomfortable. Insist on the door being opened throughout the session, or lodge a complaint.

Or as some would say, sit back, relax and enjoy.
