All things being equal,The Tony Horton Factor and the Emergence of Power Half Hour Articles the next big monster hit home workout program from beachbody.com should be Power Half Hour.

First, Power Half Hour is a 30 minute workout. Studies are showing that a 30 minute workout is the perfect marriage between maximizing the value of a workout, and the amount of time people want to spend working out.

The slightly lessened daily time commitment in the 30 minute workout format versus the hour or more for P90X is appealing to a wide range of people who either have very limited time to workout, or who found P90X too hard.

Second, Power Half Hourmaximizes many of the principles of successful results-oriented workouts like P90X. You get variety to keep from getting bored and also to keep the muscles confused.

This is a concept that has come to prominence over the last half-decade or so, thanks mostly to P90X.

Third, and in my opinion most importantly, you have the Tony Horton factor. Tony was the man who put P90X together and this made him an international star among trainers.

To many, this was a small deal compared to the work he does on the videos as the trainer and leader of your daily workouts.  The man has tremendous charisma, and a great sense of humor. He’s likable and like all great coaches, you have definite sense of not wanting to let him down.

I realize that sounds odd being that he is on a video and not really there. Except his presence is so large and compelling during these workouts, that you swear he actually is.

My recollections from P90X are that you have the feeling of security that if you do what he says, you’ll get fast and lasting results. You also have this feeling that he is sort of protecting you and seeing you through what was often a very challenging workout.

He has a keen understanding of when to dial up the intensity and motivation and when to lighten up the mood.

Further he brings a tremendous level of experience and knowledge training Hollywood celebrities who can be some of the most demanding clients in the world. He knows how to get results.

His presence in Power Half Hour employing the same consistency of approach you saw in P90X, is the reason to be on Power Half Hour taking off big in the next 12 to 24 months.

Power Half Hour might turn out to be the only workout you’ll ever regularly need again.
