Coconut Burfi or Nariyal Ki Burfi is very popular in India. Different people make it in different ways. Some us dried milk in it and on the other hand some use water in it. Some use milk in it and some do not use any liquied thing in it. No matter what are their process it is always great to have it. It is also very simple to make it at home unlike any other burfi recipe. Just follow my instructions and you are done..... INGREDIENTS FOR COCONUT BURFI    Grated  coconut- 2 cups    Mawa - 1/2 cup    Sugar - 1 cup    Cardamom    Kewra jal -1 tsp    Dry fruits    Yellow food color Instruction....

  • At first in kadhai add grated coconut and fry it on low flam until it becomes dry.
  • It would take approx 10 minutes. Take it off from flame.
  • In other kadhai add sugar and 1/2 cup of water cook it on medium flame until sugar   dissolve properly.
  • Now take it off from flame and mix mawa in it after mixing it properly add roasted coconut,cardamom powder,Indian Coconut Fudge Articles kewra jal or rose water and color.
  • At last grease a plate and spread this mixture on it and let it cool at least for 5 hours and then cut it in your desired shape .

 

TIPS:-)

  • Always use fresh grated coconut
  • If your coconut burfi doesn't become firm then cook it again on low flame until it becomes very thick (releases sugar).
