Preparing Homemade Fried Chicken

Sitting in your kitchen wondering what to make for dinner? Or perhaps your loved ones have asked you to make something specific. Whatever the reason may be, making homemade fried chicken can never leave you going wrong at the dinner table. Making a special batch of homemade fried chicken can leave a smile on your face as well as those that are at the table.

There are many recipes for fried chicken, but the thing you must remember is to make it your own. Add your own dashes and remove from others here and there. By experimenting with your recipe, you make it your own and you’ll find the perfect ingredients by practicing and having others taste.

The first thing you will want to do is place your ingredients in small bowls so that it will be easier to dunk your chicken into without too much of a mess. Have your ingredients set out prior to placing the chicken in so that it will go along smoothly. The other thing you may want to do is have your bowls set up so you can move ether from right to left or left to right and not all over the place.

Once you have that all set up, you will want to use your hands and work your way through the line with the ingredients. Move your chicken from one bowl to another making sure that you coat it thoroughly so that you don’t have any spots without coating on them. Once you have your chicken dipped into the spices and such, its time to let them sit for a bit so that your ingredients will remain on the chicken. By letting them sit for a few moments you ensure yourself that your chicken will be cooked perfectly.

Now that everything is coated, you’re ready to fry your chicken. You can either use oil in a skillet or perhaps you’d prefer to use a deep-fryer. Either way is acceptable when you’re cooking with chicken. Make sure your oil is hot as well as making sure that it is clean oil and not oil that’s been used with other foods several times over. Doing this will make sure your food does not have another taste to it from those other foods. Make sure that your chicken is fully cooked throughout the meat. Once its finished let it cool off for a minute or two.

Now that you have cooked your homemade fried chicken, you can now serve it to the people who are drooling at the mouth from just the smell of it cooking. Set your food in front of them and let them taste your unique fried chicken. Practice makes perfect, so if you do not appreciate your first few tries at frying chickenFree Web Content, try again and invite some more people over to try your cooking.
