Dear Friend

Several years ago I lived in Switzerland,Break your Comfort Zone Articles had all one needs to have a good life, a good job, partner, lovely family, great 6-bedroom apartment... but something was missing...

Then I went to a Vision and Goal setting seminar.

I had never expected what happened there! I was not aware that I had such wonderful and fulfilling hidden dreams and visions.

The Australia DREAM had started! My English was poor and I had no ideas about how to reach this goal.

An emigration officer told me the criteria, from the job to the English.

An IELTS 7 is required. How could I possibly reach this level?

Why going to all these troubles?

It would certainly be easier to go on with my life like it was, especially as I had everything what average people have, or even more!

Why would I commit my energy and motivation to focus on an "unrealistic" dream?

Because, I felt there is more in me, that I did not really live my dream and that I would regret it later on in not taking on this chance.

I was thinking: in 20 or 30 years how am I going to look at my life? Would I regret it not to have taken on this chance? My answer was yes, I would regret it!

I see many people having opportunities presented for them and they do not take them. Then later on they say, now it is to late, I am to old,... or whatever excuse they use.

In general these people are weather truly successful nor fulfilled and happy, they saddled for less then they could be.

But how did I turn my life around?

1. I imagined how it would be in not taking on this chance and I felt unhappy, sad, yet even pain.

2. I imagined myself already living in Australia, the blue sky the warm sun, the beautiful birds... I was already there in my mind and feelings. I felt great, living my dream, freedom, happiness...

As research shows highly motivated students learn easier and faster. So I used this visualisation technique to motivate myself to learn English.

Additionally I had a coach at my side, which made every step easier & clearer and kept my motivation up. I learned many different strategise haw to handle failure and motivate myself again and again.

Another skill I learned: Be always prepared that the door you anticipate gets closed and that you have to change your direction slightly to find another door which will lead you to the final goal.

Further learning's: You can accomplish everything and anything that you want, but first you need to fuel your desire to change, or else you will never fulfil your ambitions or achieve anything that you want to achieve.

Remember, if you continue to use the same methods, you will get the same results. To change your life around you need a hint from the outside (a coach) this makes changes easier and lasting.

To succeed, we have to break out of our comfort zones and break beyond our limiting beliefs.
