So much so that you tend to become comfortable with not succeeding, even though the desire to succeed has been there from the beginning.

Self sabotage behavior can also be related to childhood experiences, like molestation as a child. Or to parents having high expectations. Or a culture of blame. Or having made a mistake that had negative impact your friends or at work

The good news is that self sabotage can be overcome. Here's how to get what you really want. Stop and think and examine yourself. Once you identify those behaviors then you can begin to change your self talk, self image and inner beliefs about yourself- so that you can change your behavior and actions. Change your scripts. Tell yourself that you deserve success. You were born into this world to make a difference. For yourself, your loved ones and for the world. For the better.

Dream. Dig deep into yourself and think of where the negative self scripts came from. You may have been shaped by your previous experiences, but you can change the way you think now. Then change them.

Think again about what you really want. Tell yourself you deserve better than what you already have. Have a vision of yourself already achieving what you really want. How does it feel like? Tell yourself that you deserve this. You are NOT undeserving of it. Think YES. Think big.Think Abundance. Think and KNOW that you are deserving.Believe that success is for you.

Here are two tiny action steps that if acted upon can begin to make a huge difference in your life. It can start you on your way to integrating your self scripts with action so that you can overcome self sabotage in both personal and professional, financial and relationships.

1. Set achievable Goals. Reduce your goals into simple, manage chunks that you can achieve effortlessly. Beware of over-intending, or setting impossible goals. Then determine to achieve it. When you accomplish a goal that you have set, subconsciously and consciously you are telling yourself that you can do it. When actions match intentions, success occurs. Every time an action is accomplished, success happens. Physically, endorphins are released when this happens. This gives you a little "high". It is nature's way of rewarding an effort that is well done. When multiple success occur, you will have not physical but also psychological self confidence. You would have achieved a general state of self confidence and belief.

2. Face Challenges. Another way to develop confidence is to give yourself the opportunity to do things that you didn't know you could achieve.Each time you turn away from weakness and accomplish something relatively difficult you are building up both the power of your will and developing confidence in the ability to do things that you previously had not dared. You are able to take up challenges that you were not initially sure you could achieve . You are re-writing self scripts that challenges are to be avoided.

When you have overcome a few times, you will have told yourself that it is not as bad after all. Future challenges will be a breeze. The confidence that you can achieve will be developed and self sabotaging behaviors will naturally diminish with time. Overcome self sabotage. Free yourself to be the person you were meant to be.
