As we all know the use of heaters, and other heating systems, increase during the winter season which subsequently increases their demand in the local markets.

Portable heaters are among those that have gained much of the popularity these days by providing great convenience to the customers. The reason behind their popularity is that it provides warmth into small spaces and is easily moveable to different locations. Probability of circuit overload:

Electricity is used by heaters in high amount that increases the chances of circuit overload. The probability of circuit overload increases when other devices are also running on the same circuit, which may results into power breakdown and at times can cause fire. It is therefore recommended to avoid using other devices when these types of heaters are in operation. In addition to this, try to avoid extension cords as many of heating devices are designed in a way that does not supports extension cords. May give burns:

While using heaters, areas exposed directly to heat become very hot that may give burns if touched accidently. In comparison with adults, children are more susceptible to burning injuries as they do not have the idea about the hazard of it. Here comes the responsibility of elders to look after the devices position that may not cause harm to any person. Also there is a need to educate kids about the dangers associated with such appliances.  

Above all the hazards discussed it become responsibility of every user of the device to keep check of the device and keep it maintained. Doing so will possibly save individuals from hazards of heater and unwanted accidents resulted from its misuse.
