PEOPLE QUESTIONS
Responding Positively To The Influence Of Others
© Lee Wise 2003 All rights reserved

Everyone understands the power of an excellent question. A
question that:

*Causes us to take stock of our lives
*Encourages us to become better persons
*Inspires us to help someone
*Is the spark for initiating change

One question -- heard and acted on at the right time -- can
have a profound effect on our lives.

The purpose of this article is to focus on...

PEOPLE QUESTIONS

When I use the term "people questions," I am referring to
questions we can ask ourselves about other people.

And for what purpose?

To continue our own journey of self-development *and* be
a blessing to other people in the process.

It's that simple.

GUIDELINES FOR BEGINNING

I will allow the questions to speak for themselves,People Questions: Responding Positively To The Influence Of Others Articles but I do
have three suggestions for you as we begin:

*Read the entire list first

*Pay attention to those that "speak to you" in any way

*Jot down thoughts and ideas as they come to mind
without taking time to analyze them (do that later)

Let's go...

IMPORTANT AND INFLUENCIAL

Who are the most important people in my life?

Who means the most to me?

*Why?
*Do they know it?
*If you had to name the top three, who would they be?

Who are the most influential people in my life?

*Why?
*Is this good, not so good, or bad?

HELPFUL

Who has proven to help me the most on a personal level?

And what about on the professional, physical, emotional or
spiritual levels?

What have I learned from them?

Could I ... or should I ... help them in any way?

What could I say or do that would encourage, motivate or
inspire them?

DANGER AHEAD

Are there any people I should avoid or limit my exposure
to?

Should I completely sever relationships with anyone?

ADVICE

Who gives me excellent advice?

Who could give me excellent advice if I asked them to?

Am I avoiding anyone whose advice I may not agree with but
know I need?

CHALLENGE

Who challenges me to the core of my being to be a better
person?

What does that mean for me at this stage of my life?

Should I read their literature, contact them, plan a meeting
with them, express my gratitude for them or get in contact
with them in some way?

FAITHFUL

Who are the faithful people in my life?

OVERCOMERS

Do I know any overcomers that I should seek out for any
number of reasons?

FROM THE HEART

Who is "on my heart?"

Should I take any actions because they are?

GUIDELINES FOR RESPONDING

Who are the "top three" people that come to mind -- for any
reason -- as I have read over this list?

*What do these top three mean to me?
*What should they mean to me?
*If I were to pick the most important one of the
three, who would it be?

What about the initial thoughts or ideas I wrote down?
What about those things that "spoke to me?"

*Should I take any actions?
*Should I make any plans?
*Should I schedule anything?

IT'S YOUR TURN...

Do any "people questions" come to mind that would assist you
in reaching your goals?

If so, record your initial ideas here:
