With so much to do and so little time most of us feel stress out. This can often leave us irritated,Stop and Smell the Roses Articles tired, unmotivated etc. These symptoms are not good for neither our mental nor physical health. Have you notice that in this day and age people are dying younger and prone to more illnesses such as cancer. Maybe this should be a wake up call for all but, don’t worry you still have time to stop and smell the roses. Here are some simple tips that can help you relax and come back to your daily routine feeling recharge:

Get out of your daily routine by getting out of the house. Go to new places; get to know your city or others. It does not have to be expensive at all. Visit historic places, museums, local parks, movies, flea markets, you can even go out to eat delicious ice cream etc.

Feeling Irritated? then you might be overwhelmed. Slow Down, even if it means an hour or a day. Do something you want to do like read a book, watch TV etc.

Feeling extremely worn-out? Then stop and take a nap whenever you need it. See the difference in your energy level when you wake up in an hour or so.

Find a hobby you like, it can be anything you enjoy doing.

Take time to getaway from noise and spend sometime by yourself reflecting on your life, desires etc.

Find time to socialize and have fun with friends and family. Organize meetings or small parties once in a while.

Celebrate holiday’s and special days. Once again it does not have to expensive but, feel the joy of celebrating special days by giving love ones little details such as a greeting card etc.

Are you losing faith or need some inspiration? Then visit your local church, read an inspirational book etc.

Join a club for example a playgroup for moms and kids or a group of crafters etc.

Take time to take care of yourself overall!
