Then start breaking it down into smaller goals that will help you meet the big one. For instance, if you want to lose 50 pounds in six months, that's 8-9 pounds per month. Not that bad anymore is it? Now break it down even further. To lose 8-9 pounds per month, that's about 2-3 pounds per week.

And then in order to lose 2 lbs per week, make a goal to do the daily activities you need to do. Things like exercising, eating healthier, eating smaller portion sizes.
