Since its release in early 2010, the HTC HD Mini has proven to be a popular smartphone, and for good reason. Despite its compact size, it has still managed to provide a spec list that many larger phones would envy.

To browse the web, Opera Mobile is the browser of choice which provides an excellent browsing experience.

The HTC HD Mini has a pre-installed 5MP camera which is ideal for those who like to take spontaneous snapshots as well as those who take their mobile photography more seriously. A number of tools such as autofocus and touch focus provide the means of improving the quality of photos while simultaneously simplifying the task of taking them. The camera can also shoot video in VGA quality at a rate of 30 fps offering an alternative method of image capture.

Thanks to its smartphone spec list with its surprisingly compact dimensions it is easy to see why the HTC HD Mini is a winner, and it looks set to remain a popular handset for the foreseeable future.
