Then you decided that as many people are making money selling products on the internet, you will go ahead and follow in their steps. Great. There indeed are many products available out there that you can earn money with. Then you decided to set up a website and write about the products. Great.

So to help you along, I have compiled a short, easy to follow checklist that will help you stay on track with your writing the product descriptions that you need to put on these product pages. You can use this checklist as a guideline to safe check your new description pages. If you do, you will stay on track. You will stand a good chance at writing attractive descriptions of products that could make you the money you seek to lead a high flying internet business lifestyle. I will not concern myself here with writing for the search engines, however, going through the checklist will help you with search engine rankings as well.

The checklist to write product descriptions for internet marketers.

1. Make sure the title of your description includes the accurate name of the product you are promoting.
1.1. As a sub point, you want to include a variety of versions, or colors, or sizes in which the product is available.
2. Include an image of the product. One image will suffice. Maybe just focus on a single component of the product.
3. Start with detailed descriptions of features that are most prominent and most unique to the product.
4. Include the details of a few features, not all. You can mention all features, but do not go into any detail on most.
5. Mention your personal initial impressions of the product.
5.1. Include the excitement you felt. What surprised you? What attracted you?
6. At this point, you can optionally generate a close-up look of the feature that intrigued the most.
7. Next, move on and suggest the reader's involvement. "Just imagine, holding this mini projector in your hands"
7.1. You can continue with reader's involvement, suggesting additional actions he can take
7.2. Explain how the person would benefit from these actions. Explain in detail, include sensory descriptions.
8. End with the call to action. Click here for more details, click here to purchase, add to cart.

This is it. When you follow the checklist in your product descriptions, you will bring the reader from being a reader to being a user of the product, at least in their mind's eye. And this is the best you can do within the confines of your page. You have generated a dream world and your reader is now a part of it. To uphold the dream, the reader has to move on with the purchase or at least bookmark the page. Which brings you one step closer to making a sale.
