SNAP exam is conducted by Symbiosis International University to select students for its MBA programs. Here are all the details regarding the exam eligibility, pattern, application procedure and the institutes accepting the score.

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is conducted by Symbiosis International University to select students for its MBA and other PGDM courses and programs. The registration for the exam began on 22 August 2016 and 22 November 2016 is the last date to apply. The last date of payment for the registration fees is 25 November 2016. The registration process will not be complete until and unless the fees is payed. The registration fees for the exam is 1500 INR.

Aspirants need to hold a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or institute in any discipline with a minimum 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST). Aspirants who are still in their final year of graduation may also apply only if their graduation will end by June 2017.

There are four sections in the test namely the General English,SNAP Exam Details Articles Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, General Awareness, and Analytical and Logical Reasoning. All these section have 40 questions each except the general knowledge section which has 30 questions. The total number of questions are 150 and the total time allotted for the test is 120 minutes, that is 2 hours. There is a negative marking of 25% marks for every incorrect answer. However, no marks is deducted for unattempted questions.

The SNAP 2016 is scheduled to be held on 18 December 2016 and the result is expected to be out in January 2017. All the institutes which accepts the score of SNAP will then be releasing their cutoffs and will start the further selection procedure for the same. Usually the selection procedure is a two step process. First of all, there is a group discussion and then a round of personal interview. The final selection is based on the overall score of the exam along with the scores of the group discussion and the personal interview. One should be very well aware of the syllabus of the exam so as to prepare well. The exam usually covers all the elementary and high school level topics and subtopics. For the general knowledge section, one should be well aware of the current affairs, both national and international and also static general knowledge.
