IVF success rates depend upon a lot of factors including the IVF cycle.
In a typical IVF process the woman's eggs are retrieved from the woman's body and then fertilized in the clinical lab. If everything goes well that means the fertilization is complete, then the embryo is transferred into the woman's uterus and that process is called IVF Embryo Transfer. This is a very critical part of the whole IVF process and has to be done very carefully and the embryo has to be placed on the right place for right pregnancy. There have been many IVF failures due to improper implantation of embryo. This happens when a in experienced doctor performs the IVF transfer or if the doctor does the job in a hurry. This has been observed quite a lot of times and then the parent do not want to take the risk and go on to have them. Some clinics also have high rate of multiple childbirth as they succeed in achieving better pregnancy rates.
The doctors are conducting further research on this matter and are trying to make this process more successful just because of the risks involved in it. The timing and the days that are calculated must be accurate and similar to natural pregnancy. If the calculation is perfect and the IVF embryo transfer is proper then the success of the pregnancy is sure.
