This is part 2 of a series where I am hoping to give you a chance to better understand the individual workouts if you think you may want to buy P90X2.
Let me say first that I love P90X2, but I also understand if people are turning their nose up before they buy P90X2 just because there is so much that we don’t know (or much we have been actually misled about). Previously we talked about the importance of balancing the work aspect with the recover aspect. We also discussed that P90X and P90X2 approach this balance in many ways which aren’t similar.
As we’ve seen in our work, P90X is conventional in the approach. You do the lifting, pushing, pulling and the thrusting for 5 days, you do yoga for 1, day and you rest for another. Understand that one thing if you go to buy P90X2: rest is just as different as the exercises themselves, but also extremely important to your final results. This goes again to the whole new way of looking at fitness that is readily available with your P90X2 journey.
You are initiated into total body balance type exercises that cause you to work parts of your body that you might not get too with other workout regimens on the market. You will have the necessity and the result of better balance, better functionality, more durability, more flexibility, and more agility. If we are to trust the reviews of the people who have completed the P90X2 odyssey, when this is added up you will also look amazing as well.
It is this last part about appearance that I believe hasn’t been properly framed in the marketing materials of P90X2 leaving a sort of attention deficit and breakdown in communications with the user at large. In other words, the Beachbody people are asking the potential customer to buy P90X2 but they might not be giving you a really good reason why.
Luckily, the Plyocide workout in P90X2 will remind you the first time you do it that being fit beyond what P90X could bring you means a level of effort and discomfort you probably didn’t know you could have. Basically you get the explosive jump maneuvers of the P90X Plyo workout but with a more emphasis on balance and the mind body connection.
