“Precaution is better than cure” This is a very old saying and still is working for the beneficial of human being. According to this saying it is better to stop something bad from happening than it is to deal with it after it has happened. That’s why it is recommended to hire the services of loss assessors.

Taking the services of insurance is not the end step towards the stress free life. There is no guarantee that you will get your claims if something gets awkward. It was found many times where people did struggle for their own claims and most of the times they won’t get the right amount of reimbursement. I am finding the above quote “Precaution is better than cure” is perfectly suiting in this kind of situation.

A loss assessor will do many precautions for you like.

•    prepare reports as quickly as possible for the client including recommendations for settlement;
•    look over documentation to validate that the loss or damage is covered by the terms of the insurance policy to a sufficient extent;
•    Go for a conference with the policyholder to discuss valuation and validation of the claim;
•    exchange a few words with the insurers to get instruction on new claims;
•    Go though over the site of a loss for inspection and assess the damage;
•    Capture the whole the situation of the site with  digital equipment such as cameras and camcorders;
•    advising insurers and policyholders on the most appropriate repair or replacement technique;
•    recommending local specialist firms for demanding repair or restoration work;
•    analyzing the recordings from security cameras and reports from emergency services and/or security contractors;
•    investigating suspicious claims by inspecting claimants' records to verify the existence and value of goods being claimed for;
•    liaising with any other insurers to negotiate the spread of liability;
•    Recommend instructions to the claimants on security and other precautions basis to reduce the risk of further losses in the future.
