Astrology as a psychic type of reading is far more in depth and has a science behind it as well as the use of psychic ability. When you start learning astrology you will just brush the surface. This is a science that takes years of study and is far from easy. Every person has all 12 zodiac signs in their reading.  It all depends on the date time of you birth and in what part of the world you were born. It is extremely important to have the exact time.  

There are two main different types of astrology Western and Chinese. For the purpose of this article we will stick to the western type. Where each planet lands in our chart has an effect on our life. What an astrology reading does is work out where each planet lands in your years chart which is worked out by using your last birthday for example if you were born on June 17 you would take June which is 6, 17 which equals 8 and 2011 which equals for so you have 6,8 and 4 which equals 18 = 9 so that person in the 9th cycle of the 9 cycle chart. I. E year 9. So that is the cycle you would read for them. This is where the psychic side would also come into practise. You will read the 9th chart but at the same time the psychic in you would come forward in the interpretation.  It is not necessary to be psychic for you to be an astrologer but it does help. It is basically a science and the reader gives the sitter the benefit of many years of learning this art. You have the day you were born the time of your birth and the place of your birth. Do not confuse your daily stars in the newspaper with astrology. This is just the very tip of the iceberg.

When you start to learn the ins and outs of astrology you will see how deep and accurate it can be. It is a simple matter for a trained astrologist to map out your current and future path according to the stars.
