You'll be also needing another type of scar sock paper of your choice which you wish to have for the birthday balloons. You will also need a stick glue gun and a mod podge glitter as an option for making the balloons look extra shiny.

When we assemble it together we can even take it together let's do align center and bring it and put it where we want it probably likes that okay and now finally we have this butterfly right here which is obviously too big let's make it maybe about one inch wide and again i'm going to change the color to match our pinks and let's duplicate it a couple of times and we can arrange the butterflies right here to look like they're flying now for the design part we're done so now let's go ahead and hit make it and cut the pieces out now since we have only gold and and pink so these are the only two colors we're gonna use depending on your a4 acrylic sheet  size i like to arrange my my um pieces so to save paper you can go ahead and move these in move it around so you can have less paper wasted you can tilt them as you want same thing with with the next mat you can go ahead and arrange it if you want to use just the top or if you want to go down depending on your size of the paper.

That you're using if you have um any birthday cake topper left over so i'm gonna click continue i'm gonna select my materials and i'm gonna cut it and then i'm gonna show you how to put this together so here we are after we cut our pieces out first what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna assemble the pieces on the side and then we're gonna put everything together so first let's get started with assembling the flower the flower has three main pieces with the petals and then we're gonna have the center and the little leaves that go behind it okay so first i'm going to put together the flower but i want to go ahead and curl the petals first i have this tool it's actually a chopstick but what i like about it is it's uh long and it has a tapered edge at the end so first you take your petals and you curl the flower it doesn't matter which way you curl them these are flowers so they're nature they're natural and anyway you curl it you can even flip it over and curl it the way you like it so i'm going to go ahead and curl all of these and i'm going to get back to you okay now we have all three pieces of the petals shape curled so we're going to have to assemble them and put them together first what i want to do is i want to take one and kind of push it in together so it forms that floral shape now.

We just stagger them and put them together with our glue when you put them together since we have five petals here go ahead and twist it so the petals fall in between each other if you're using a regular liquid glue you're gonna have to let it give give it some time to dry otherwise if you're using your glue gun this is obviously gonna dry really fast now let's add the center and finally we're going to add the leaves behind the flower so it's up to you how you want to put them but make sure you put the glue on top so on the shiny part because it's going under the petals make sure you take some time to let it dry and after it dries put the petals up curl them a little bit more and this is what it will look like now we're going to go ahead and put together the butterflies so we have two kind of butterflies we have this lace birthday balloons design right here and we have the little ones the silhouettes so first what we're gonna do we're gonna take our tool again and shape the butterflies so put it in the middle and just bend this will give it that 3d effect of the butterfly now let's glue the butterfly together and here we have our butterfly of course let it dry again so it will set in and then we can assemble the cake topper and put all of this together now for the final step i would like to use the glue gun that way it will adhere much faster and better to this golden metallic paper so let's go ahead and start with the flower and let's position the flower like so then i'm gonna glue the big butterfly let's put it right here and the little butterflies be careful with the hot glue that you don't glue your paper to your mat as i'm trying to avoid here and here we have it now you can do is add the cake sticks we can add one right here and one right here or just try with one depending on your paper choice for the back you might want to get something more stronger this one will hold up pretty well let it sit for a few minutes make sure that it dries and we are done i see the cake stick is sticking out here just a bit we can either cut it or i can try to move it down probably at this point it won't go down so i will cut it later on here we have the final design i went ahead and cut the cake stick that was picking out so now it looks much cleaner if you have any questions go ahead and post them below or be sure to join our makis makers club on facebook and of course if you enjoyed this video please go ahead and give it some thumbs up and if you want to see other videos like this please let me know what else you would like to see thank you so much and i'll see you soon bye.  i'll be showing you how to create these cake toppers this will be great if you are trying to personalize your own cake toppers for birthday parties or baby showers or any type of cake that you wish to have so let's get started [Music] before we get started the material we need is 110 pounds black card stock paper.
