Customer service just isn't about smiles and thank yous. In today's competitive marketplace,Tae Kwon Do Party - Extraordinary Service in Action Articles extraordinary service is imperative and there is there is no more competitive business than children's birthday parties. Everyone has them these days - restaurants, doll stores, gymnastics facilities, Soccer facilities, Basketball gyms, pony farms, amusement parks, miniature golf. For my daughter's sixth birthday we selected Tae Kwon Do.

Although we'd had positive experiences with the facility, we had no idea what to expect with a birthday party. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were awed by the experience.

The main Tae Kwon Do area was set up with an obstacle course of padded jumps and tunnels. As the kids arrived they were directed into the room where they were allowed to run the course with a cadre of black belts to assist them at the difficult segments. Up-beat music coursed through the speakers and strobe lights cascaded about the darkened room as the kids giggled in delight. What proceeded was as miraculous as the beginning. For two straight hours (with a short break for cake) the kids were treated to exciting activity after exciting activity including padded sword fighting and a board-breaking show by the black belts.

The facility exceeded our expectations several times over and left the entire group of parents and kids "wowed". Just about every place we have gone for a birthday party has had good service. The employees are almost always friendly and helpful and the kids always have fun. However, 99% of the parties are easily forgotten and they blend in with all the rest of the parties as time goes by. However, the Tae Kwon Do facility got it completely right. They completely exceeded expectations and will be remembered by every one there for many years to come.

Not only will the facility benefit from more business from our family, but they will gain business from everyone at the party as well. They just got it right. In today's marketplace good isn't enough anymore. You need to be great to be a truly successful company.
