Pop up displays are one of the biggest favors you can do for yourself. You have enough to worry about during your tradeshow without having to spend hours and hours setting up and taking down your display. The beginning of the show is hectic,Pop Up Displays: A Professional Solution that Saves Time and Money Articles and by the end of the show you’re exhausted. Pop up options for your display can help streamline your event and save you both time and money.

Once you decide to go this route, there are several things you still need to consider before choosing the best display for your needs. Here are some of the questions you’ll need answered before making your purchase.

What is your budget? You should decide ahead of time how much you can afford to spend. You’ll want to consider this in the context of all your other tradeshow expenses, like the cost of your space, pamphlets, and staff. Luckily, there is a wide variety of price points with the pop up option, so you’re bound to find something that’ll be a right fit for you.

How often will you be using it? This is really a durability issue. If you’re doing several shows a year, you’ll want something that can stand up under heavy use. Get a display that has the highest durability for your dollar. If you’re only doing an occasional show, and don’t mind replacing your display every few years, you can get away with a more economical solution.

How much space will you have? Be sure to consider this before falling in love with pop up displays that aren’t practical for your needs. You don’t want to find out that your space is not suitable for your display on the day of the tradeshow. The answer to the space question will determine not only the size of your pop up, but the shape, as well.

Obviously, you’ll need to find something that fits within the width of your designated space. If you have a smaller space, a straight display will set against the wall and open up more floor space for you and your prospective client. But keep in mind that a straight display is less balanced than a curved one, and will require some extra attachments. The curved display is much more stable and is the most popular option. It can create a little more privacy by giving the feel of an enclosed area. If you have the space for it, you can even go with an S-shaped display for even more options.

What else are you bringing to the tradeshow? This is something you’ll want to consider when you are deciding the shape of your display. If you’re planning on bringing tables with pamphlets, or a few chairs for your clients and staff, you’ll want to consider the arrangement.

What is the display for? Do you want to show pictures of your products or brand? You can get a display that showcases a single, large graphic, or get a fabric panel display that can feature interchangeable Velcro graphics. One advantage of using a single graphic display is that your permanent logo will be sure to stand out. The fabric panel option, on the other hand, allows you to update the Velcro graphics relatively easily.

Whatever your answers are to these questions, pop up displays come in so many different sizes, shapes, and price points that you can practically customize the best option for your needs. If you’re still not sure what you’re looking for, look around at what your neighbors are doing at the next tradeshow. This is always a good place for ideas.
