The 80's were a fascinating time. The hippie peace and love flower power era of the 70's was coming to an end and a new, edgy style was emerging. Bellbottoms made way for leather jackets and ripped jeans. Then of course there was that interesting experiment with spandex and shoulder pads. Styles were changing and so was popular culture.
