I guess that you like playing tower defense games,Tower Defense Games - 7 Tips to Help You Win Tower Defense Games! Articles just like me. Have you ever been in this spot: you started a tower defense game some time ago, you commence the current wave to see all your towers fire away, yet few of the enemies still make it to your base, with only a little life spared, but just enough to make all your preceding labors useless? Oho, in particular if your base did not have enough hit points left and you have to start all over again, I know how that feels!

Well, bellow I'll jot down some tips to help you handle the circumstances and win more tower defense games. There are differences from game to game, but the advise you will get is planned to be general. If you follow these tips, you will have a much better chance to finish all waves and win any of the tower defense games you play. In the end of the article I also point out a great place where you can play tower defense games for free (I own the site, but since you now know that I love playing tower defense games just as much as you do, that's a good thing, right?). But first, here are the tips to aid you win:

- Put the towers with small range (usually the ones you afford at the beginning or some fierce, but short-ranged, ones) as near as possible to the turning points in the maze. This way they will keep firing for a longer time.

- You have to put the long-ranged towers the middle of the map. Judge that most of the times their range will increase when upgrading them! This way you will cover a good deal more of the pathway the enemy walks on. Or else you may render useless a fair amount of their extended range.

- For any tower defense game, it is essential to use towers with slowing effects! It's best to put them before groups of towers which will inflict massive harm.

- If you know that you'll deal with self curing enemies don't scatter your towers to much. You don't want them to have time to regain their health.

- If there are poison towers, they belong to the beginning of the maze, and at precalculated intervals (to poison the foe again when the effect wears off).

- Upgrades: you have to figure it out, while playing a tower defense game, which towers are really worth upgrading. I.e. upgrading a slow tower might be more beneficial for your defense (and cheaper) than upgrading the complete group of towers behind it. Nevertheless, on small maps and towards the end of the game, you will be forced to go for quality over quantity (particularly if the enemy has armor!).

- In some tower defense games, some enemies are more susceptible to damage from certain towers. Observe which, if the case, and use it against them! Some might hurt more from fire, others from poison.. well, it depends on what tower defense game you are playing
