The Arboricultural Association is the U.K.'s premier governing body and trade membership organization,Arboricultural Association Articles with over 2,000 members of various grades. Professional Membership is seen as industry wide recognition of a member's experience, qualification and demonstrable competence. Arbtech's arboricultural consultants are all encouraged to progress their professional career with the Arboricultural Association; keeping current with industry developments via access to CPD seminars, conferences and peer reviewed journal articles.

The Arboricultural Association's web site (www.trees.org.uk) is an excellent resource for industry, associated professionals and private interest alike. There is a section for Frequently Asked Questions, which includes sound information about selecting a tree work contractor or arboricultural consultant, and practical advice about how to deal with trees that may be damaging property.

History of the Arboricultural Association

"The Arboricultural Association was founded in 1964 and is the largest body in the UK for the amenity tree care professional.  A range of membership grades exists linked to National Qualifications Framework levels.  Members can progress through the membership grade structure as their career progresses in either civic or commercial employment at craft, technical, supervisory, managerial or consultancy level. There are approximately 2,000 Arboricultural Association members." Source: Arboricultural Association web site, www.trees.org.uk

Here at Arbtech, we recognise that the decisions that hang on the completion and outcomes of a Tree Survey are important, and sometimes even life-changing, for our customers. With years of experience in the industry, our team of arboriculturalists are fully qualified to deliver high quality Reports, including British Standard BS5837 compliant Surveys, to satisfy your requirements and maximise both your assets and your chances of approval.

Our Tree Reports seek to evaluate the trees and vegetation within the specified area, including age, depth, sprawl and health. This assessment provides our arboriculturalists with the necessary information to identify both where treatments or surgery may be needed to prevent vegetation from developing into potential health and safety hazards, and how healthy trees – which can sometimes enhance the capital value of your land – can be best conserved.
