My mother would say that a site like MyShallowGal.com is a weakening and degradation of women and society. I am not my mother. I think the site is probably what you make it. While my mother is a staunch feminist,Bucks for Free Designer Fashion Articles I believe in live and let live. As long as you don’t piss in my post toasties, I don’t care what you do. That means that if a woman wants designer fashion, she should have it. If this dream is unobtainable due to monetary issues, I think it shows a lot of creativity to get someone else to cover the bill.

Now, with that said I have a couple of buts to voice.

Safety and protection is one but. If the site does what it promises and really keeps all the information safe and secure and the women don’t give out their real names and real numbers and real contact information, then it’s cool. And turn about is fair play. The men should be kept safe from female stalkers. You know they are out there.

The rules and regulations for MyShallowGal.com seem to have that all covered. Initially it’s up to the people on the site to self-regulate. There is always someone who doesn’t play by the rules and if they are caught in this non-conforming position, the women can loose their account and any money donated to them will be forfeit, returned to sponsors so they can give it to the more responsible types. The men lose their account and any viewing privileges if they can’t play nice with others.

The site has age limits and guidelines on photos. At this point I’m going to state that I’m not my brother’s keeper. But, and this is something I’m passionate about…I am my daughter’s keeper. That means that as a parent I’ve learned the tricks and secret codes to track what she does on the computer, her phone, her iPod, etc. If you are a parent, I suggest you pull the blinders off your eyes and realize that your kids were probably techno-heads at five.

This means its up to you and not some government entity or website to police your children. Learn the technological lingo and the drill so that you can effectively be your children’s keeper. This way your daughter can’t fudge her birth date and your son won’t open an account to look at girls’ tatas when he’s twelve. Nuff said.

So, I’m done with the buts, and back to whatever rocks your boat. I’m sure the site works better for some and not for others. Like anything in life there will be some of the women who make it happen and it will be quick and easy. Other’s will work their butts off and have marginal success. Either way, free always makes everything look and feel better.
