Deep breathing- This can really help out. Learn a new breathing ritual and it could end up saving your life. You will need to concentrate and start off breathing as slow as you can. Breathe out small amounts at a time. Once you take a breath in, hold it in for a few seconds. Close your eyes and think about your breathing while doing this. Drown out everything else around you. Getting yourself concentrated on something will ease your panic attack.

Sing- If you have a favorite song, start signing it. It sounds a little silly, but again it has to do with concentrating on something. Getting yourself concentrated on something else helps a lot. Signing your favorite song will also help relax you. This will distract you from your anxiety and places your focus on something else.

Think Different- Try changing the way you view things. Start with what gives you the panic attack in the first place. This could be something hard or something really simple. You should try changing that to something positive. If you are thinking about something and it gives you a panic attack, then change it around to something positive. If thinking about all the debt you have, change it to you have a roof over your head. You have healthy kids. Try and find the positive in everything.

You time- A big reason people get panic attacks is because they are overwhelmed. There is too much going on in their lives and they are not sure how they should handle it. Make a little time in your life for you. Find something that you love to do that will give you alone time. Try and do something for yourself each week. It can be something very small in your life. If you manage your panic attacks well, then try rewarding yourself with something larger at the end of the month. Regardless of what you do, take some time off for you.
