As you know,Taking vitamins for healthy body Articles vitamins are compounds, which are required by our organism. The required dosages are in tiny amounts but they are enough for our body to grow strong and healthy. Although the first vitamins were discovered in 1912, nowadays there are about 30 vitamins that are known but usually not every person is taking them for many different reasons. Some of the main reasons are that some people either do not have the possibility to buy foods rich in some of the vitamins or they just do not eat every food. The easiest example, which can be given, is the vegans. Because they are depriving themselves from all meat, products and they are lacking many vitamins, which are contained by them. This is why it is important to eat all types of food.

But vitamins are not only useful for our organism but for our body as a whole. For example, there are vitamins that can be taken for the hair, nails, eyes, skin, teeth and bones, during pregnancy and more. All vitamins could be divided in 2 groups – water-soluble and fat-soluble. Fat-soluble are the following vitamins – A, E, D, K and water-soluble are B and C.

The fat-soluble group is needed for the following factors – vision; growth of mucous and skin membranes; regulating the calcium-phosphorus metabolism; process of reproduction, needed for fertilization and wearing of the fetus; coagulation factor. So as you see this group of vitamins is vitally needed for us and our existence.

The water-soluble group is important for – metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats; cellular redox processes; component of cellular enzymes; metabolism of fats and amino acids; stimulation and regulation of growth and blood formation; the toxic substances disposal in our body, strengthens the walls of the blood vessels, stimulates immunity. Again this group is vitally important for our being.

All these vitamins are needed in very little quantities for example starting from vitamin B12 with 0,005 milligrams per day and reaching vitamin C with 100 to 600 milligrams per day. And although they are useful in such small quantities, however, you should not be overdosing them because if you overdose your daily amount you can cause many unpleasant diseases. In fact, overdosing vitamins will do exactly the opposite reaction of each vitamin is supposed to do. So be careful when taking your daily doses.

The foods from which you can obtain some of the most important vitamins are – meat, liver, fresh vegetables and fruits, brewer’s yeast, eggs, milk, legumes, kidneys, fish oil, vegetable oils, citrus fruits, spinach and more. It is recommended to do so your diet that every week you take the required doses of vitamins and thus to be healthy and strong.
