Types of Source heat Pumps

The air source heat pumps are broadly classified into two categories. They are

• Air to air system
• Air to water system

In the first system the heat is generated by the fans that are there in the home. Here the hot air is circulated around the house with the help of these fans. The only drawback of this system is that it is not ideal to heat the water.

The second one is air to water system; this system will generate heat to the house through the central heating system. These systems generate moderate heat and can be used for long hours. These systems are also ideal to heat the water.
