• Before following the configuration process provided below it is to be noted thatif you have downloaded the Xfinity WiFi app and installed the Xfinity WiFi profile by logging in, your iPhone will be connected to your private home WiFi network automatically at home and Xfinity WiFi when visiting a relative/friend or traveling.
• Depending on the version of the iPhone you are using, your device may connect automatically in case you have connected to Xfinity WiFi manually and your private home WiFi network earlier. Moreover, if you are using iPhone with iOS 6 or above (or if it is an iPhone 5), it will connect to your private WiFi automatically at home and Xfinity WiFi when you are outside your home.
• In case you are using iPhone 4S (or older version) or an iPod, it will try to connect to the most recently connected network, provided that network is available.
• In case your device does not connect to your private home WiFi network by default, you can follow the instructions provided below:

1. On your iPhone, you will first need to tap on the Settingsapp icon.
2. Next, you will need to tap on theWiFioption to see the list of networks (SSIDs) available.
3. Now, in order to connect to your private home WiFi network, you will need to tap on the network name of your home WiFi network in the menu. Generally, your home network will be having the strongest signal.
4. Then, you will need to wait for a few seconds while your iPhone connects to the network.

• In case you have never connected your iPhone to your private home WiFi network on this Xfinity Wireless Gateway earlier ever, you will need to enter the Network Keymentioned on the label of the Wireless Gateway (on the bottom) and then tap on theJoin
• In case you have changed the network key (also known as Password) from the original setting, you will need to enter that key instead.

1. After that, you will need to wait for a couple of seconds while your device connects. Once the device gets connected, you are done.

NOTE: You can repeat these steps if you wishto connect your iPhone/iPod to your private WiFi when you’re at home.

Steps To Connect to Xfinity WiFi

In order to get the best Xfinity WiFi experience, you will need to download the Xfinity WiFi app on your device. In case you do not wish to download the application and if you are connecting to Xfinity WiFi for the first time, you can follow the instructions provided below.

1. Before following the steps, you will need to ensure that your WiFi is turned on. In order to turn WiFi on, you will need to tap on theSettings app icon first.
2. Once you are in the Settings section, you will need to tap on theWi-Fi
3. In the WiFi section, you will need to ensure that the Wi-Fifeature is enabled.In case the Wi-Fi option is set to OFF, you will need to tap on the OFFbutton to enable it.
4. Once you are done turning on the WiFi option, you will need to wait for a moment to allow your device to find the WiFi networks in range.
5. Once your device displays the list of networks available, you will need to locate Xfinity Wifi from the given list to select it.
6. After selecting the Xfinity WiFi, you will need to wait for a couple of seconds to let your iPhone or iPod fetch the IP address from the Xfinity WiFi network. Once your device gets connected, you will see a right-tick appearing in the WiFi menu next to the Xfinity WiFi SSID.
7. After joiningthe Xfinity WiFi network manually, your device will connect automatically evey time the network is withinthe range of hotspots provided by Xfinity WiFi.

Steps to Log In to Xfinity WiFi

1. After you have successfully connected to the Xfinity WiFi network, you will simply need to open your Web browser. This will direct you to the login page of Xfinity WiFi.
2. Once you are on the Login page of Xfinity WiFi, you will need to enter your Xfinity ID and password in the provided field and click on the Sign-in
3. You will be logged in to your Xfinity WiFi account.
