The increasingly popular ayahuasca brew is an hallucinogen from the jungles of South America that is said to cure many types of addictions and diseases. It is also believed to increase one's spiritual awareness, and in some cases, to give the practitioner supernatural power. What ayahuasca really does is open demonic communication channels. Ayahuasca ceremonies are forbidden in the Holy Bible, Deuteronomy 18: 10 - 12.

There has been a huge world wide increase of interest in ayahuasca over the last few years. Ayahuasca is an hallucinogenic brew from the jungles of South America that is said to cure many types of addictions and diseases. It is also said to increase one's spiritual awareness,Praying to the God Ayahuasca Articles and in some cases, to give the practitioner supernatural power.

What people overlook is that ayahuasca ceremonies are expressly forbidden in Deuteronomy 18: 10 - 12.

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. The ayahuasquero (a shaman specializing in ayahuasca) purposely tries to evoke and invoke spirits.

These, we are told, are usually plant spirits that show the ayahuasquero how to heal his "patient." This may involve casting the demon that is causing the illness out of the patient's body, asking the spirits to enter the patient's body to heal him, or the ayahuasquero is told by the plant spirits what medicinal plants are needed to cure the patient.

Ayahuasca sessions take place at night, in darkness. The ayahuasca is blessed with smoke, song and prayer. The ayahuasquero sings his "icaros;" songs designed to summon spirits living within ayahuasca.

The patient will also pray to ayahuasca, or at least to the plant spirits, hoping that this will help bring about the desired results. For the session to be a success spirits must manifest in some way, under the guidance of the ayahuasquero.

Praying to anything except God, is in violation of the 1st Commandment:

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

There are even ayahuasca churches like Santo Daime and União do Vegetal that combine various belief systems (even Christianity) with ayahuasca usage at its core.

Healings of physical, mental and emotional natures do occur. Usually by casting out the offending negative spirit or by ingesting plant medicine after the ceremony. These healing sessions create strong emotions in the patient for ayahuasca, the spirits and the ayahuasquero.

Demons, being sons of the Devil, the father of lies, are master liars. They can appear as beings of light, or as your worst nightmare. They can appear as aliens, or as benevolent plant spirits. They have an enormous amount of deceitful tricks and knowledge, and yes, sometimes they can cure.

If the ayahuasca participant has a problem caused by demonization that demon only needs to back off a bit after putting on a nice hallucinogenic show and the patient believes he is cured.

In some cases the demons really do show the ayahuasquero how to heal the patient. But there is always a price to pay, and unknowing to the patient that price may be demonic possession. Besides, both the ayahuasquero and the patient ask for spirits to enter their bodies!

This is an ingenious deception: 1) A person commits a sin that (unknowingly) opens a door to demonization. 2) He drinks ayahuasca asking for a cure. 3) The demons stop their assault on him for a time and the patient believes he is cured. 4) Trust and faith is developed in the powers of ayahuasca, the shaman and the spirits. 5) The participant continues to drink ayahuasca (thus inviting more spirits into his body). 6) The spirits put on a good hallucinogenic show so the practitioner believes he is becoming spiritually powerful. 7) He becomes a missionary for the spirits. 8) More people drink ayahuasca, unknowingly become demonized, and then carry out their own missions!

The Bible warns about familiar spirits because they are malevolent, lying demons who hate humans. They will do everything within their power to hijack our bodies and pull our souls into hell. When we participate in occult activity we are opening doors for demonic entrance.

The occult is a very dangerous toy to play with. We should not open interdimensional doors. Once opened our only real defense is Jesus Christ. We cannot beat demons alone.
