Oak Dining Furniture for Elegant Attraction

I had to find the idealistic dining furniture so I could achieve this look.
What I was sure about was that it was going to be a dedicated dining room and nothing else. Too often nowadays one room seems to blend into another, partly because rooms seem to be getting smaller and need to double up their functions. No member of the household was going to use the dining room for any other purpose then eating in there.

Having established the ground rules, we then set about transforming it from the uninteresting canvas it was into the refined family dining room we craved. I was making sure that in my haste to decorate, I did not confuse formal with frigid, stodgy and dull. We likewise decided to purchase the best quality dining sets we could afford, knowing that it would serve us well for many years to come.

It was actual wood and a light finish rather than dark and we had looked closely at wood grains, colours and finishes. Even though we opted for a light wood, there was likewise dark woods like walnut or mahogany. The table also extended out so I could accommodate other people if needed. The wood finish was light but with rich golden tones and I loved the feel of it. The way it opened out was simplicity itself and this made it modern and practical and also traditional and graceful.

The matching chairs had hand stitched leather seats and backs. The light wood combined with leather just finished off the modernistic look. The effect was mind boggling.

To complete the look, we also chose a matching sideboard with some small storage cabinets. The two dining cabinets gave me so much storage as well for glasses, candles and table cloths.

I stood back and admired how much the dining room had come together. The oak furniture is the centre magnet and is admired by all that come round. Out of all the rooms in the house, I have to say that the dining room is my best-loved. The oak furniture was positively a fantastic buy.
