Domain authority (DA), developed by MOZ, helps you assess your website’s rank in SERP. This is crucial because DA helps you analyse where your website is underperforming. With this DA score, you can improve your ranking in SERP among other tough competitors. Since the SEO strategy is improving dynamically, you need to outsmart others for a better click-through rate.

This doesn’t help you with your website ranking in SERP rather it says where your website lags. So don’t confuse this with PageRank. Your website DA score will result anywhere between the set score which is 0 to 100. The higher will be better. DA uses machine learning algorithms to predict google’s interpretation of analysing a website based on a user’s query.
