Choosing the best blog hosting site

Which is the best blog hosting site to use for your blog? I know how hard it is to choose the perfect blog host for your blog. Choosing the best hosting for your blog can be very frustrating and should be carefully done.

This post will help you choose the best blog hosting service for your blog.

This blog only contains the hosting that I have personally used in this blog or in my old blog and everything I have written is my personal experience with the blog hosting service.

To be honest I have been through this phase and I am very happy to say that I have finally found the Best Blog Hosting Site for my blog.

There's a gift for you at the end of this post.

I have used some free hosting for my old blog and trust me they are not good for your blog. And I have also used Siteground as my blog host in my old blog and eventually I had to move toBluehost.

I currently use Bluehost and I have been using it for more than 6 months now and I can sayBluehost is the Best blog hosting site out there.

And also we have a very special offer for you guys at the end of the post. Make sure to check that out. Bluehost is giving a special discount for everyone who is ready to sign up through my affiliate link.

Bluehost is giving 50% off to everyone who clicks on "Get Started" below. Instead of 7.99$,Which is the Best Blog Hosting Site for you? Where I host my blog? 2020 Articles they are giving 3.95$ for their hosting.

In this blog, I am going to cover these topics -

  1. Why you should not be using a free hosting service?
  2. And Why I don’t recommend the other hosting services I’ve used in the past?
  3. Why WordPress is the best blogging platform and why you should use it without any doubt?
  4. And Why Bluehost is the best blog hosting site out there and how easy it is to set up your blog with Bluehost?

1. Why I don’t recommend Free hosting services?

I have used free hosting services before and I know how bad they are and why I don’t suggest you do the same.

First of all, they are not entirely free. I mean they will charge you money after some time or ask you to upgrade your plan.

They will put very unattractive ads on your website. They have to make money somehow, right?

You won’t get even a decent speed for your website and very limited bandwidth.

And a big disadvantage is that your URL will look very crappy and unprofessional like insideconstitution.blogspot.com.

If you want to check for a URL and see if it is available then type the URL in the box.

Nobody trusts an article if the URL goes like that. Free hosts don’t allow to use the original URL. But Bluehost comes with a professional and a free domain to get you started.

Yes! I said free domain. Bluehost provides you with a free domain too. And it is the best blog hosting site out there.

If you can't decide it right away you can always choose later as you will get a free domain credit.

You won’t ever be successful with a free hosting provider. If you got a little traffic they won’t be able to handle it and when you ask to move they will ask for a few bucks to move your website.

Their customer support is non-existent in my opinion. They won’t reply to you with any possible solution and they will ask you for money at every point to provide help.

In short, if you want to be a professional and a successful blogger then you shouldn’t get a free host. You will have full control over your blog and how it looks when you host with a good hosting provider.

2. I have used Siteground in the past and I don’t think Siteground is the right choice for you.

I know Siteground is really outstanding and many people host their site on it. And I am just sharing my personal experience with siteground.

And I have had a few issues with them on my old blog. That’s why I decided to try Bluehost and I am having a great time with them.

SiteGround has amazing service and I am not denying that. The dilemma started when I got an influx of traffic in a particular week and the site went down for a long time (which cost us a lot of visitors).

We asked their customer support to fix the problem but they told us to upgrade to a dedicated server which will cost us $600/mo.

Normally, a dedicated server costs around $280/mo. but my site will be considered in the Asia-pacific region and they didn’t have plans below $600/mo. for this region.

A dedicated server would have cost us a fortune for the traffic we were receiving. I decided to move to Bluehost and everything was perfect.

I bought a VPS plan for my site which costs me around $30/month and it handled the traffic perfectly without any downtime.

$30/month is way less than $600/month and we were able to save a lot due to this.

If you don’t want to go through the same shit as I did, then I think you should choose Bluehost as your host.

People tend to like HostGator and I haven’t personally used it so far so it wouldn’t be fair for me to make any assumptions on them.

3. Which platform is best for you? Why I recommend WordPress.org?

It’s no joke when 75+ million bloggers use WordPress as their blogging platform. WordPress is the largest CMS in the world.

I recommend WordPress over any other platform out there. Wordpress has been out there in the market since 2003 and they have been leading the market since then.

Many beginners confuse WordPress.org with Wordpress.com. They are not the same. Wordpress.org is real WordPress and wordpress.com is a different platform.

I have a separate blog which will help you choose between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. check it out below.

Wordpress.com vs Wordpress.org? which blogging platform to choose?

And guess what, Bluehost is recommended host by WordPress themselves. When the world’s largest CMS recommends something, it is definitely gonna be great.

If you don’t believe me, then trust the largest CMS in the world and use Bluehostas your host.

WordPress.org recommends two more hosts which include SiteGround and Dreamhost.

There are reasons why I recommend WordPress.org over any other blogging platform out there and they are -

1) It is the largest CMS in the world.

No doubt, wordpress.org is the largest CMS in the world with over 75 millions bloggers using it. It’s already pretty compelling reason to use it over other platforms like Wix and Squarespace.

I recommend giving more time on Wordpress instead of wasting your time learning about Wix and other platforms.

2) It is the most powerful blogging platform.

Wordpress has been around for more than 15 years now and they are leading the market. They know what they are doing.

Wordpress also has tons ofperfect plugins that you will need to grow your blog. All other platforms are very limited with their plugins.

There are thousands of useful plugins made for WordPress and they all work great.

But you should not be installing a lot of plugins to your blog because they will increase the loading time of your website which will cost you a ton of traffic.

I have a dedicated post on the best plugins out there that every blogger must install. check it out below.

Best WordPress Plugins of 2019.

3) Every professional blogger uses it.

More than 30% of the top 10 million bloggers are using WordPress.org as their blogging platform. It is really easy and there are tons of best themes that you will be able to use with it.

Wordpress offers a lot of themes and people gets confused while selecting one for their blog.

Wordpress has a great content editor which I like a lot. It is simple and easy to use with tons of options. You can decide the way you want your post to look.

Everyone blogger I know uses Wordpress.org as their blogging platform and I recommend everyone to use it.

4) They are not going anywhere anytime soon.

They are the Largest and most trusted CMS out there. WordPress has been around for more than 15 years and they are not going anywhere for a long time and your content is safe with them.

You will find thousands of tutorials of WordPress and any problem you will go through easily on youtube and their support forum.

4. Why Bluehost is best hosting service out there and why you should be hosting with them?

I have been using Bluehost for months now and I haven’t had any issues with them.

Most importantly, more than 2 million websites are hosted on Bluehost and that’s a big deal.

Here are a few features that make Bluehost best blog hosting site -

4) Official WordPress recommended host

As I already mentioned that Bluehost is officially recommended by WordPress themselves and you don’t need a bigger reason than this to trust Bluehost.

WordPress and Bluehost are like Chandler and Joey.

5) 30-days money-back guarantee

There really is no risk at all. Bluehost provides 30-days no questions asked money-back guarantee.

If you didn’t end up liking Bluehost after 30 days, then you will get the full refund of your money (which you won’t be needing.

30 days is more than enough to decide whether Bluehost is for you or not.

6) Fast and Reliable Customer support

This is one of the most controversial topics for Bluehost. And I have seen many reviews that their customer support is fast but not reliable or knowledgeable.

I haven’t had any issues myself. I have been using their service for months now and I contacted their customer support dozens of time and they helped me through everything and sometimes they solved the problem themselves.

And I personally think that their support is incredible.

7) Resources they offer

They offer great resources for the price they come in. You get unlimited websites (depending on your plan), unlimited bandwidth and unlimited email addresses.

Talking of email accounts, it is really surprising how easy you can set up your email account of your website. It is done in a matter of seconds. I did mine I.e. team@bloggingkraft.com.

8) Very strong Uptime

Let’s talk about the technical aspect of Bluehost.

What is uptime exactly?

Uptime is the measure of the uninterrupted time that a hosting system experiences.

The uptime of Bluehost is damn near perfect. It has an uptime of more than 99.99%. It is well over the industry standard which is 99.94%.

No one has achieved 100% uptime and it is considered almost impossible. Bluehost with such data is considered one of the best in uptime.

9) Page loading speed

In 2016, Bluehost is very slow and had an average loading speed of more than 1500ms and it wasn’t even ranked in the top 15.

But now, Bluehost is among the top 5 in their speed averaging around 400ms. That’s a drastic improvement in two years and they are constantly working on their technological aspect to give their customers more speed and reliability.

Now, you have 9 reasons to choose Bluehost over other blog hosts out there.

Conclusion

To wrap this post up, I have just one thing to say -

Bluehost is the holy grail in the blog hosting service. I have been using it for months and haven’t experienced any problems.

I recommend Bluehost over any other hosting providers out there.
