I will always remember when I first started in the industry I was told by my MLM company that what I needed to do what write a list of all my friends, family, work colleagues, even my neighbours and then call them to persuade them to check out my business then keep following up with them until they joined or fell out with me.
Can you guess what happened next?
Very quickly and very surely they fell out with me!
Now you're probably wondering well what did I do next, my next step was then to start prospecting with total strangers therefore I would spend my days on the high street giving leaflets to everyone in close range, placing cards in shops, searching for strangers online and staff in supermarkets but this kept resulting in the word NO and at this point I went back to speak with my sponsor who told me to just keep trying and eventually it would work however I was not prepared to do this anymore.
I sat at home for 2 days thinking to myself "Why am I doing this?" then my next thought was "Surely there must be a better way", it was at this point I realised there was a better way, that better way was to attract people to me and not me going to them.
As you can imagine my next question was "How do I do this?" this was the turning point when I discovered YouTube along with video marketing and believe me I did not look back.
The important things to remember are:
1 Video per day for 30 days will get you steady traffic and leads
At least 1 video per week after 30 days to maintain traffic
Always put URL at very top of video description
Ensure description is very keyword targeted
Patience and Persistence at all times
