You would have experienced many journeys in your life and here,A journey to welding and welding industry Articles we are going to see a journey that is totally different. Also, you can say this journey as a technical journey or as an informative journey. We are going to discuss about the process of welding and welders in a brief manner. After reading this, definitely you will like this journey and try to get more information about it. The automobile and many industries depend upon the process of welding and welders because even in minute manufacturing, they need the help of welding process and welding technology. Let us enter into our journey of welding.

Welding is a known concept, and for those who are new to this, i will explain what is it? It is a sculptural process that joins metals and materials. I will explain in a poetic way.

         * Welding is strengthening
         * Welding is lightening
         * Welding is technological
         * Welding is economical
         * Welding is affordable

Such a welding process is in more demand now, and the welding industries have realized that only through the modern equipment, they can improve the production and also the quality. Arc welding is the first and also the oldest welding process and later on many new welding processes have been introduced. Welding is there from ancient times and the perfect example are the small circular boxes that were made by welding in ancient times. An archaeological research says that it was made before 2000 yrs ago. In the Iron Age period, the Egyptians and the Mediterranean’s learned welding by welding the pieces of iron together. Also, some findings say that it was made approximately in 1000 B.C.

Blacksmithing was developed during middle ages and many irons were produced and welded by hammering. 19th century is a period where everyone came to know about the welding. As said before, arc welding was the first welding process and later on tig welding, Mig welding, stick welding and other welding process came. And now, laser welding, friction welding and also in many industries the robotic welding have been introduced in which the metals or products have been welded automatically. When you see the welding machines that have been used in olden days, it is heavy and huge in size, but now it has been become small and portable. The best example is tig welder and other types, when you see it, it has become small and portable. You can carry this to anywhere you weld and the tig welder is typically used in many applications.

Similarly the plasma cutter, the new welding machine have been introduced and this single machine performs dual role such as welding and cutting and also it is used to remove the weld between the metals. Plasma cutter is the most widely used welding machine now and it has gained popularity and also attracts the manufacturers and the buyers. So when you buy the welding machines, select a machine that is user friendly to you. I hope you would have enjoyed this journey of technology.
