New programme launched by Microsoft for agritech startups in India

On June 3,Microsoft has announced the launch of programme for agritech startups that are devoted towards making transformation in agriculture.

Aim of programme -  1).To help agritech startups in building industry specific solutions ,Guest Posting scale and grow with access to technology , business and marketing resources. 2) To create a shared platform for learning and innovation by bringing startups, industry bodies ,government , corporates and venture capital firms.     According to Microsoft, agritech startups in India are revamping agriculture by developing innovative digital solutions to maximise productivity , increase supply chain efficiency , improve market linkages and provide greater access to inputs for agri-business . Startups also gets access to Azure FarmBeats .By using Azure FarmBeats can acquire ,aggregate and process agricultural data and they can rapidly develop their own AI/ML models. According to Sangeeta Bavi , Director for Startup Ecosystems at Microsoft India "Sustainable agricultural technology can transform the global food landscape. Agritech startup innovations are addressing some of our key challenges connected to agriculture and food production."
