You need to promote your free-giveaway and let everyone know about it. There are several ways that you can market your free offering. Many of them are simple and inexpensive or no cost to do and set up.

Keep in mind that a lot of these methods to promote your "sampler" will be ongoing - some you set up once (like the link in your article resource box) and others you keep doing (talk about at networking events and presentations).

Take a look at the list below and check off all the ones that you can do:

* mention it in your resource box at the end of articles you written

* post a notice on any online groups/associations you belong to that have a "marketplace" * have a link to your giveaway on your Facebook profile

* send out a press release

* at presentations,Promoting Your Free-Giveaway Articles workshops and seminars take people's contact information to email or mail them the free product or link to your website where they can download it

* talk about it on any Yahoo or Facebook groups that you belong to or run

* talk about your free offering in your blog

* submit links to your audio/video/PDF sampler to as many websites and directories that you can find

* announce it on message boards and email discussion lists * submit the website page to search engines

* remind people in your ezine welcome autoresponder email to download it as a free bonus

* at networking events get business cards and send them the free prouct or email with a link to it

* submit your ebook free-giveaway to the popular ebook directories

* include information on your sampler in your email signature

* include information and a link to it in your bio

* give it away for free as a promotional piece

* post sections of your video and audio free product on YouTube

--> tell them to visit your website to get access to the entire video or audio and that way you can get their email address and name to add to your list

There are also more "advanced" ways to leverage your free-giveaway:

* give a copy of it to prospective joint venture partners and affiliates

* teleseminars - mention it and tell them if they send in their email address you'll send it to them (if you don't have an opt-in box) OR give them website address and tell them to sign up with opt-in box

* send email to ezine editors and ask permission to send it to them for distribution to their readers (who are your target market)

* post your audio free product to podcast directories

* give it to people that join your affiliate program

* have a great testimonial about your free-giveaway on your home page * add information about it on the back of your business card

* promote your free product at your talks and seminars

--> speak on a topic directly related to the free-giveaway

--> offer a free printed "sample section" to whet their appetite
