Before you removal or uplift the removal company or their staff representatives will contact you to verify the time of your uplift and other removal arrangements. If contact is not made and you have some queries then you must go and adjust time and other formalities.

Pack before Move

·         If you have decided to pack half of the goods and half remain unpack, then you give information to the house removalcompany so they will consult with you to identify and agree all breakable stuff, and boxes containing these will be separately recorded on the inventory condition report (ICR) and signed by both you and the removal company. (At delivery the removal company will unpack those goods and leave the remaining boxes or cartons for you to unpack).

·         Carry out the delivery within the hours confirmed by housing colony or owner of the house.

·         Cover carpets, mattresses and furniture with some kind of protected or plastic covers.

·         Dismantle stuff of furniture such as mirrors from dressing tables, beds (except waterbeds), and castors from chairs.

·         Pack prints and paintings in the most appropriate packing material.

·         Protect floor and carpets coverings.

·         Cover your furniture properly and tightened it when it is being moved between the house and removal van or truck on wet days.

·         After the goods have been uplifted company and client both have to visit house, check every room etc and confirm that each item needed is uplifted.

·         Stop work or task if you or your representative is not present.

When your uplift will be completed, the moving companies must provide you or your representative with a copy of the inventory condition report (ICR). It is an important document and you or your representative should read it carefully before signing it.
