Bluetooth is the Answer to Mobile Transfer

Bluetooth is an invention that has changed the world of mobile phones and computers for good. Before the invention of the Bluetooth, it was difficult for cell phones to exchange any kind of information with each other.  The only way in the GSM system that you could send any data at all was just by sending a SMS message.  Also you could only use infrared communications to exchange information with your computer.  An infrared port was a highly inefficient port that worked quite slow and more to the point it worked only by line of sight and only for couple of centimeters.  Thus it was quite often that your phone and computer last communication with each other and due to the low speed of infrared ports, you could only use it for transfer of small files.

However the inclusion of Bluetooth technology has changed the mobile sector for good.  You are no longer bound by the older technology as you can easily exchange large volume of videos, songs, films and even games.  With Bluetooth technology, you can easily use it to exchange any type of data between two phones or between a mobile phone and a computer.    You can easily upload your favorite tunes to your cell phone through your computer and through your Bluetooth device.  The new Bluetooth devices come with even a 100 meter range and they can be used to connect your cell phone or your laptop into Internet even when you phone and notebook are far away from each other.

The name Bluetooth is an interesting name, as it was derived from a Danish King that lived around the 10th century. His name was Harold Bluetooth and he was very talented when it came to sitting down with various factions and unifying them together for a single cause.  Hence when Bluetooth was being named, it was thought that it would be able to unify the telecommunication sector and computer sector by bringing a common platform between these two devices.  It was successful to a great extent as it allowed mobile devices and computers to communicate with ease.  Another legend has it that warrior Vikings used to paint one of their tooth blue to secretly or overtly communicate with each other to show then that they were from the same cause.  Thus again the name Bluetooth fits the bill as it allows for overt communication between any two mobile devices.

The mobile market is packed with all kinds of Bluetooth accessories and thus nowadays you can find tons of phones that come with standard Bluetooth.  Of course, you will need to use your charger often as Bluetooth will use more energy in your cell phone.
