The lightweight and portable device runs Android operating system alongside the HTC Sense user interface and is the HTC answer to tablets in competition with others such as the Blackberry Playbook.
The tablet has a large 7 inch touch sensitive display with 1024 by 600 resolution respectively for a vivid High Definition experience which is great for surfing the Web in the WebKit web browser as well as watching video playback and gaming. The Android operating system allows you to run many apps at once, and download more from Android Market, while the Sense user experience from HTC phones is also continued through on this device, while others such as the Blackberry Playbook have opted for more specialist software to run on them. Storage memory is impressive on this tablet too, with 32 gigabytes included and a further expandable memory of up to 32 gigabytes more on microSd card technology. 
The device includes a 5 megapixel auto focus camera facing rear for photo capture and video recording in High Definition quality, while it still has all the necessary software needed to instantly share your media or simply enjoy it back, which is great for videos on the large 7 inch display. Additionally, there is also a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera for self portrait shots and allowing you to make video conference calls too, as with the 3 megapixel front camera on the Blackberry Playbook respectively. 
The HTC Flyer is a sleek and lightweight tablet which offers all of the power and functionality of the HTC Android phones combined with a larger touch sensitive display which provides an overall bigger experience. It also still allows you to perform many of the tasks synonymous with HTC Sense and Android.
