The Motorola Xoom offers the latest Android 3 operating system among its other features. The tablet device has a 10.1 inch display and a 5 megapixel rear facing camera for photo and HD video capture, along with an email client, web browsing capabilities and location based services.

The tablet device includes a front facing webcam with 2 megapixel resolution as well as its main 5 megapixel camera for video recording at 30 frames per second creating High Definition quality videos which can then be viewed back on the tablet via its large 10.1 inch HD display.  The main camera is also supported by a dual LED flash and has auto focussing software, while the device also offers video editing software too. Video playback is also possible on a large external display such as an HD television, thanks to the impressive HDMI connectivity offered. The Xoom has location based services offered through Google Maps, Google Latitude and other apps, such as Places on Facebook, all made possible through its internal aGPS receiver and eCompass (digital compass). Google Maps provides directions from one place to another and points of interest along the way, including nearby restaurants, petrol stations and cash machines. Additionally, the tablet running the latest Android operating system version 3.0 respectively, also has fully integrated Google Talk for chat, GMail within its impressive email client and Chrome integration with the Webkit full HTML web browser with tabbed browsing through the large display offered.
Among its many features the tablet device also allows you to customise all of your shortcuts, themes and more and offers you up to 5 different home screens to use for different times or places. Multitasking is also possible thanks to the powerful operating system and the 1 GHz dual core processor. Memory for your photos or downloaded apps from Android Market meanwhile is stored on the onboard 32 gigabytes available.
