One of the joys of using Microsoft Access is it's ability to quickly turn out a powerful user interface. Throughout all versions you have the option of using a step by step wizard to guide you through the creation of the form or manually create it in the design view. The latest version of MS Access,Microsoft Access 2007 Forms Articles known as Microsoft Access 2007, allows you to create a variety of form types. Creating a standard form is quick and easy. Simply choose the table you want to base the form on in the navigation pane. Now go up to the Ribbon and click the tab named 'Create'. Go along to the forms section and click the button called 'Form'. Within seconds a simple form will be created for you to enter data. To customize it further just go into design view and make any necessary changes. You can also create a form that shows more than a single record. This is known as a multiple items form and data is presented in datasheet format. Generally forms tend to show single records at a time. However, there are occasions when we want to see the bigger picture. Creating a multiple items form is pretty much the same as creating any other form, only in this case you click the button called 'Multiple Items'.Another new nice feature of Microsoft Access 2007 forms is the ability to create our forms and reports while looking at the data it holds. To do this we need to switch to what is known as layout view. This option is available by using the 'View' button which is situated just under the MS Office button at the top left.Split forms allow us to display a datasheet of records in the bottom half of a form. By clicking on one of these records, more details about it will be shown in the top part of the form. The information is split into two halves. Create a split form in the usual way, but this time click on the 'Split Form' button. It is always a good idea to plan out which forms are best suited for the purpose. When modelling a one to many relationship - customer has many orders - it is better to opt for a main/sub form scenario. Whichever option you choose, Microsoft Access 2007 forms will enable you to create user friendly robust interfaces. For total Microsoft Access masteryhttp://access-databases.com/ms-access-tutorial/
