RBI Assistant 2017 exam is conducted by Reserve Bank of India for the recruitment of Assistant in its various branches all over the country. RBI Assistant Exam 2017 will be conducted in three phases: Preliminary,How to Crack RBI Assistant 2017 Articles Mains and Interview. The Preliminary exam will be conducted on 27th and 28th November 2017 whereas the Mains Exam will be held on 20th December 2017. Before getting started with tips on how to crack RBI Assistant Exam, let us first understand the RBI Assistant 2017 Exam Pattern.

 

RBI Assistant 2017 Exam Pattern

The Preliminary Examination of RBI Assistant 2017 consists of 3 sections: Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability and English Language. The Mains exam has 5 sections: Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness. Kindly note, 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in both Prelims and Mains Exam. The total marks allotted is 100 marks for the Prelims exam and 200 marks for the mains exam.

RBI Assistant Preparation tips

The RBI Assistant 2017 Exam is just around the corner. In this article, we have provided tips to crack RBI Assistant 2017.

 

Study Plan

As you are left with only few days, prepare a study plan and strictly adhere to it. Follow a time table to complete the syllabus on time. Work on improving your speed and accuracy with a regular and thorough practice. Start revising all the topics that you are done with. Do not start any new topic at the last moment. Last 15 days should be spent on revision and practice.

 

Brush up the basics

During the last few days, it is very important to brush up the basics and advanced concepts under each section before you begin practicing them. Revise the important formulas, tables and shortcuts for the quantitative section, to score well in Reasoning section, solve puzzles, Sudoku, crosswords, take online quizzes and read newspapers, novels, magazines to brush up your English Language.

 

Practice

Practice is extremely important to crack any exam. Last few days before the exam, candidates should attempt mock test. RBI Assistant Mock Test will help in understanding the exact nature of the exam pattern and questions. Analyzing the mock is equally important to identify the weak areas. Candidate should solve Question Paper of previous years to increase your speed and accuracy. Practicing with test series also helps in identifying your strengths and weaknesses. Important topics Section Wise

  • Reasoning-The Reasoning Ability section of RBI Assistant Prelims exam would be scoring if candidates are prepared well on these topics-Puzzles, Sitting Arrangement, Syllogisms, Blood Relations, Ranking test, inequalities, Sequence and Series, Coding-Decoding and Input-Output.
  • English Language-Candidate should focus more on Vocabulary, grammar, words usage, Reading Comprehension, Sentence Re-Arrangement, Sentence Improvement and Spotting Error and Cloze Test.
  • Quantitative Aptitude-This section will include questions from Data Interpretation, Simplification and Arithmetic. Candidates should be thorough with squares, square roots, cubes, cubes roots, fractional values of percentages when solving questions.

 

Time Management

For effective time management during the exam, set a timer while practicing to determine which topics are taking more time. Answer the section which you are confident of in the beginning and which is less time consuming and then move on to the more time consuming and difficult sections. Also make sure you read the questions carefully before answering.

 

Relax and Stay Calm

Make sure you get enough sleep and rest between your preparations and do not overload yourself with too much information just before the exam. During the examination, stay calm and attempt the questions which you are confident first.
