I would like to pose a question to all parents: When you're deciding on the top day school for kids to send your precious little one to,What is an Education? Articles what do you look for?

You see, this is a trick question, because the answer can never be one solitary thing. Back in the day when the definition of the top day school for kids meant strict headmasters with sticks in their hands, academics might have been the only thing of importance at a school. But now, things are definitely changing. With the mind-set of the entire world changing, schools have come to be much more than just a place of academic learning.  No, academics are no longer synonymous with education at large. While that might have been the case a few decades ago in a country like India, the scenario now is starkly different.

 What does education mean today?

The traditional definition of education might be that education is the process of giving or receiving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university. Well… I beg to differ with the Oxford English Dictionary; or at least with this specific definition of education. Does education have to be structured? Then what is the point of education if one were to operate within boundaries? Isn't the purpose of education to cross barriers and boundaries every single day while learning more and more things about the world, its workings, and ourselves?

Fortunately for us, education has yet another definition in the Oxford English Dictionary. What is it, you ask? Here goes: education is an enlightening experience. Now, that’s more like it, isn’t it, folks?

Yes, education is an experience. An experience of things old and new, of theories centuries old, and of propositions of the future, an experience of one’s history and contemporary lives… Education is indeed an experience. And how might one define an experience? An experience is a practical contact with, and the observation of facts or events. Or an experience is an event or occurrence that leaves an impression of someone. An amalgamation of these two definitions is what makes education an experience.

So parents, when you're looking for the best Day Care Centre Noida or Gurgaon or anywhere in Delhi or India, are you going to look for a school with the best academics guaranteed? Or are you going to look for an institution that will allow your child the experiencses he or she deserves for a wholesome education, not just an academic education? The best best Day Care Centre Noida or anywhere, is one that equips your child with academic excellence, extracurricular achievements, moral, social and ethical senses of responsibility and moulds your child into a responsible and intelligent human being.
