I’ve covered a list of the year’s most anticipated games before – read that here in case you missed it. That post covered the real AAA stunners,A dreamer's wishlist of the world's most anticipated games Articles I’m talking God of War 5, Diablo 4, and more. But everyone knows about those – and they’re almost definitely coming this year. But what about the lesser known games, the ones that would stop the press if they were finally released?

And no, I’ve got no time for remasters like Diablo 2: Resurrected. Let’s keep this to the new stuff!

Today we’re focusing on the rumoured, the hyped, or the seemingly impossible games that could be coming before the end of the year.

The Elder Scrolls 6

So Skyrim is still one of Steam’s highest sellers, and Bethesda’s teaser for The Elder Scrolls 6 has amassed millions of views on Youtube.

Skyrim remains a force in gaming thanks to huge mods like Skyrim Together, and the world would simply lose its mind if this was revealed to be a next-gen 2021 release.

Age of Empires 4

In the age of game delays, Age of Empires 4 simply needs to come out this year. I mean we’ve already been waiting a decade and a half, how much longer could we stand?

Bloodborne 2

While Elden Ring seems to be the next FromSoftware title everyone’s talking about, Bloodborne 2 would simply knock it out of the park.

The Bloodborne weapons are the the best in any Soulslike game we’ve ever known, and fans are currently crying out for a Bloodborne PC port. Know what would be even bigger? That’s right, a damned sequel.
