Release date : June 26, 2015 Author Rating : 3/5 Director : Srinivas Producer : Venu Gopal Reddy Music Director : Kamran Ahmed Starring : Prince, Jyothi Setti , Sampoornesh Babu
Story: -
Kiran (Prince) is a simple pizza delivery boy who falls in love with a doctor named Swathi (Jyoti Sethi). He began his wooing and some how manages to win his love. While all this happens, the couple suddenly stuck in a chaotic situation where a deadly Minister (Jaya Prakash Reddy), a renowned doctor (Rao Ramesh) and a funny gift (Sampoornesh Babu) are after Vidya Balan.Who is that Vidya Balan? Why are they after? and what is this all about chaos? For answers to these questions, you need to watch the movie on the big screen.
Plus Points: -
The second half is the greatest asset of the film. The fun actually begins during this period and the funny and chaotic climax ends the film on a happy note.Prince is ok as chef, but needs to work on his acting skills. Jyothi heroin Sethi is decent. All scenes featuring actor Madhu and Prince came out well.Sampoornesh Babu is hilarious in his role of Ghantasala. It evokes great laughter during climax with Jaya Prakash Reddy. Saptagiri is ok in its appearance and is Ramesh Rao as the villain.
Negative points: -
First half hour of the film is routine and lack of direction. The film begins on a dull note all the characters make an entrance without clarity. Until the last ten minutes of the block of the interval, the film is shot with the Prince of love track. While Madhu is correct, it goes overboard in many scenes in the second half. Story of the film is quite common and has been treated many times before.Songs cause an obstacle to the film and could be easily removed. The film is a roller coaster effect that the film is getting better with some twists but gets stuck with some boring scenes.
Technical aspects :-
Music is less than the average and all songs have been removed. camera work is very good and so is the sense of art. Production values are decent that policymakers do not compromise on the number of artists selected for the tiny roles.Scenario is pretty bad in the first half but picks up speed of the interval. Coming to the Director Srinivas, he does a decent job and a good comedy performed in the second half. The only place where it is teetering in the first half where his leadership does not focus.
Verdict: -
Overall, Where is Vidya Balan has some amusing moments. second half interesting comedy Samporrnesh Babu and a hilarious climax save the film from sinking. If you can attend the slow first half, you can easily give this fair a crime comedy shot.
