If you think about this though and how much stress your eyes take in just one single day then there is no wonder that eye lift surgery is one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures in Thailand right now.
When you factor in the humid and dusty Thai climate it is clear to see that your eyes would really take a beating each and every day.  For those who are not aware why this procedure is popular,Cosmetic surgery in Thailand – Eye Lift Surgery Articles well, as you age your eyelids tend to sag and droop.  This can obstruct your vision and make you look older than you really are and it can all be resolved through having eye lift surgery.  But what exactly is this procedure and is it safe?  As mentioned, eye lift surgery is one of the safest cosmetic surgery procedures you can have in Thailand.
This process takes two hours to perform and the effects last for five years up to the rest of your life.  The procedure reduces eye bags and removes excess fatty tissues, skin and muscle from the eyelids.  This procedure will not stop your eyes from aging nor will it get rid of dark circles or wrinkles.  If you wish to get rid of those please consider other cosmetic surgery in Thailand such as laser resurfacing or forehead lifts to resolve those issues and these procedures may be covered further in future articles.
This cosmetic surgery requires anesthesia coupled with oral sedation being in the current and most popular practice.  However having this done at a hospital or surgery centre will result in intravenous sedation being used instead.  For the upper eyelids incision are done following the natural lines of your eyelids and this will remove the skin from the tissue allowing the surgeon to then remove the excess fat, skin and muscle.  The incisions are then closed using sutures and they have to remain that way for three to six days.
In dealing with the lower eyelids or eye bags as part of this cosmetic surgery in Thailand most doctors will employ the transconjunctival technique in removing the fat. The incision is made inside the eyelid hence there is no visible cut after the surgery.
The other technique is called the transcutaneous technique, which cuts along the eyelash margin. The incision line is visible but normally fades after a short period of time.  Before having this procedure you must be prepared for several issues that may occur after the operation such as limiting your activities afterwards and having to stay at home for 2- 3 days to allow your eyelids to recover.  The main obvious benefit of having this cosmetic surgery in Thailand is that you have relaxing beaches to recover on instead.  As you can see this cosmetic surgery is fairly harmless to undertake and perform and is just one of the many popular cosmetic surgery procedures that you can have whilst in Thailand enjoying your vacation.
