Vacations are a time to take a break,How To Take Care Of Your Skin On Vacations Articles relax and forget about your daily routines. And that includes your skin care regimen! Maintaining a skin care routine sometimes becomes near impossible while you are traveling. First it’s not feasible to drag along all your skin care products and then you never know if you can find a place to use them at all. Add to it unpredictable weather conditions and you don’t even know what skin care products to carry and which ones to leave out. Carrying all of them is not practical at all.

So what are some things that you should essentially take with you in all your expeditions? One a good sunscreen and another is a good shielding lotion! Innovative Skincare SPF 20 powder sunscreen is best for outings and travels.

Here are some ways you can use these skin care products to your benefit no matter what the situation is at your destination:

Traveling

Flights being the fastest mode of transportation are also quick to damage your skin. In the closed confines of the plane, your skin starves for moisture and dries up in the process. In addition hydraulic fluid spills, pesticide residues, leftover agents from cleaning products etc. take a toll on the skin too. A good way to counter this is by applying a moisturizer regularly during the flight. But then again, there are many moisturizers that tend dry the skin even more. Hence a shielding lotion! It binds with the outer layer of your skin and forms a kind of protective layer that keeps the moisture locked in and keeps off chemicals.

Traveling by car is no better. You will need to close the windows and switch on the air conditioner if it is hot outside and that will cause your skin to dry up as well. Even if you decide to keep the windows open, you stand to get affected by outside dirt and debris. This time too your sole recluse would be a good quality shielding lotion.

Same goes for bikes and scooters. In fact there you will need to take extra care about tanning. It becomes essential to apply ample amounts of sunscreen all over your body especially to the exposed areas in addition to shielding lotions.

Staying Out

Now vacations can be anywhere. You can either go hiking in the mountains or have a good time at the beach. It could be camping in some forest or it can be a camel ride in the desert. These different locations demand different modes of skin care and different styles of care.

Camping is natural and beautiful. But then again nature is home to bugs, insects, dirt and itchy plants as well. And to top it, there is no guarantee of the climate conditions there. Skin care can well become a nightmare in such a situation. But again, you can save grace by using a good shielding lotion. Also, don’t forget the humble sunscreen for the day time.

Beaches are no safer. Being in water by itself means all your applications might be at risk of being washed away. But anyways, a good quality sunscreen is something that you should never forget to take. Even better apply a shielding lotion on the sunscreen so that you are not only protected against harmful sun radiations but it will also enable your skin to lock in moisture. Don’t forget to check the “waterproof” tag on your products.

With all this said, look forward to have a fun and safe vacation!
