Some people practice and practice but they can't seem to have the dream they want,Lucid Dreaming Supplements May Not Be For Everyone Articles or want to get into.  Others turn to lucid dreaming supplements that help them get a good night's sleep; making attempts easier. The problem with some recommended vitamins (like B6 or B12-vitamins) is that you have to take such a large dose that it doesn't make sense to even try it. However, some people do have better luck with teas that are specifically used for calming nerves and anxiety. Chamomile tea would be a good example of this. I have also seen valerian root recommend but I'm not sure if that is a tea or a spice. I'm also not sure where in the world you would buy such a root. Chamomile tea would be a better bet for beginners. There are also lucid dreaming supplements that are specifically made to help you sleep and more importantly, help you have more vivid dreams. Since remembering your dreams is an important aspect of lucid dreaming, vivid ones are important to help you remember.  You will easily remember in great detail dreams that are in color or have sounds in them.A good night's sleep is important so you can wake up a little earlier for your adventure.  I'm sure you were told when you were first learning how to lucid dream that you will have better luck if you try it closer to morning; when you're not so tired but can still fall asleep again. I have had much more luck a few hours before I'm supposed to get up than any other time during the night. It's also easier to remember what you were dreaming about if you really concentrate in the morning. That being said, be sure to look at the ingredient list of any lucid dreaming supplements you are considering. There are some that are JUST sleep aids, and for that you could probably just take AdvilPM or something. But you really want a mixture of not only things that can help you get a better night rest, but also something that is geared toward NOT knocking you out so deeply that you would never remember your dreams no matter how hard you tried. You'll probably need to test things out for yourself and see what works. Remember also that nothing will work immediately. You will need to get full nights sleep for a few nights in order to be as ready as possible for your lucid dreaming adventure, but you will find that it gets easier as you practice - and don't worry - you will get it with practice.
