This survey has been conducted on the basis of past 10 years which confirms the high prevalence rate of victimization and violence among adolescents considering the number of large adolescent and general population studies. Department of Justice in U.S (2002) reported that the violent crime rate for adolescents of 16 to 19 years of age was double of the rate of individuals of age group 25 to 34.
